I love texture!
My collage paintings are individually created one piece at a time. I would not have it any other way.
I design and cut every single piece by hand, no machines are used in this process. I also paint and assemble each piece, one at a time, on the canvas, therefore creating a vision that may change as the work progesses.
This process gives me an appreciation for all of the materials involved,
the time to reflect on the meaning of the process itself and, as a bonus, inner calm, peace and joy.
